Pride in the Law Survey 2026

Thank you for taking part in this survey.

The Law Society is committed to understanding the experiences of LGBTQ+ solicitors and allies across the profession as part of our wider member facing, three-year Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) strategy. This survey builds on our previous research to explore how inclusive workplaces are today, what has improved, and where further action is needed.

Your responses will inform Law Society guidance, and support efforts to improve inclusion.

As a guide, the survey should take between 10-20 minutes to complete depending on the questions you choose to answer and the level of detail you choose to provide.

Taking part is voluntary and you can skip any questions you prefer not to answer. 

All responses will be confidential and will be reported in anonymised form.

Some questions refer to potentially sensitive experiences such as discrimination or harassment. Please only share what you feel comfortable with.

While focused on solicitors, we welcome responses from across the legal sector.
